00700		Well it is 5AM and I can't sleep, so I might as well

01300	should have an aunt in Boston.  Since all this is true, I think I
01400	must be the right John McCarthy, and I have written him to that

01700		How do you like our new printer  It can do lots of different
01800	type styles.  Soon it will be able to print pictures in the same

02100		Not too much is new here.  Sarah finally completed her
02200	Heathkit radio and offers to build another Heathkit for me if I
02300	can find something I want in the Heathkit catalog.  I haven't

02700	letter later.  Today after my class, I am going to visit the
02800	Environmental Protection Agency office in San Francisco and
02900	find out whether they really believe their proposal for gas
03000	rationing in L.A. in 1977 is a good idea or whether they are
03100	simply going through the motions of preparing a plan that
03200	will achieve the level of air quality specified in the law.
03300	I suspect they are crazy and really believe in it.  The woman
03400	I talked to on the telephone tried to persuade me to take
03500	the train to San Francisco and made a point of saying that
03600	she doesn't own a car.
